Some of the key highlights included in this release are:
- Light/Dark Theme - The Mission Tools App has the option of a light or dark theme, with dark being the default.
- Mission Tools new Site - Mission Tools are served from a new site and customers need an account.
- Configurable Map Tiles - The maps that are used to show the known base station location can now be configured by the user.
- Pass Mission Packages with '.mp' Extension - Mission Packages can be imported and exported into the Mission Tools as a file with the '.mp' extension.
- Development of Responsive Design - The responsive design of the Mission Tools has been improved.
Light/Dark Theme
Light and dark themes have been added as a configuration option, with the default being the dark theme. The idea is to make the Mission Tools aesthetically similar to other applications that are used on the same computers or tablets at potentially the same time, such as the Lifeseeker GUI.
Mission Tools Install from new Site
The Mission Tools install site has changed to https://mission-tools.centum-labs.com. In addition to that, to access the Mission Tools installation, users will need a corresponding user account. The new approach removes the need to install certificates.
Configurable Map Tiles
The maps that display the location of the base station location context in a mission can be directly configured by the user. The defaults include the map tiles used up until now as well as the maps used by the Lifeseeker GUI itself, depending on the connection status to the Lifeseeker.
Pass Mission Packages with '.mp' Extension
In order to make the Mission Package files more recognizable, an .mp extension was implemented for all mission packages able to be imported or exported by the Mission Tools. In addition, Mission Tools are now registered as an application to open files with the .mp extension to ease .mp file import.
Please note that this feature works only with the latest version of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. The feature has not yet been thoroughly tested in other browsers.
Improvements of Responsive Design
The responsive design of the Mission Tools has been further enhanced to improve the use of the Mission Tools on variable screen sizes.
